  • Ben Gliklich

    Co-President & Treasurer

    Ben is a second year in Davenport College. He intends to major in Economics with a certificate in Data Science. He is from Boston and is a huge Patriots fan (in fact, his two dogs are named Brady and Billy). Outside of learning about hedge funds, he enjoys listening to podcasts, biking, and reading (mostly nonfiction). Ben is also involved in various entrepreneurial activities. Last spring, he interned at M33 Growth, a growth equity investment firm. Ben hopes to bikepack across the US at some point in the future.

  • Kenneth Shui

    Co-President & Chief Technology Officer

    Kenneth is a junior in Ezra Stiles College majoring in Computer Science. He is from San Jose, CA and enjoys playing volleyball, sightseeing, and studying algorithmic trading. Outside of YUHA, Kenneth is involved in YCS. This past summer, he interned as a machine learning engineer in big tech.

  • Claiborne Tompkins

    Co-Vice President

    Claiborne is a freshman in Saybrook College double majoring in Economics and Statistics & Data Science. He is from Nashville, TN and spends his time listening to country music, playing chess and poker, and watching football. Outside of YUHA, Claiborne wrestles on the Club Wrestling team and is involved in YAI, TAMID, and YPU. This past summer, Claiborne interned at a small wealth management firm.

  • Sina Deghani

    Co-Vice President

    Sina is a first-year in Trumbull College majoring in Statistics & Data Science. He is from North Carolina and is interested in distressed and prediction market investing. Outside of YUHA, Sina is part of the founding team of a YC-backed startup and spent this past summer at Kaid Investment Group. He spends most of his free time wrestling or traveling solo, and aims to visit all seven continents alone before graduating from Yale.

  • Vinh Nguyen

    Director of Projects

    Vinh is a class of '29 Saybrugian. Coming from Hanoi, Vietnam, he is very interested in looking at emerging markets and developed markets. Outside of YUHA, he is also in YAI and attends Yale Political Union debates. Vinh is also very interested in philosophy while also playing poker from time to time, watches tennis, and is now dabbling in club squash. Vinh is planning to double major in EPE and Applied Mathematics.

  • Christian Ruiz

    Director of Sponsorships

    Christian is a freshman in Saybrook College double majoring in Computer Science & Economics and Global Affairs. Originally from Spain (avid Real Madrid fan) and based in Dubai (UAE), he has grown up across four countries spanning three continents, navigating four languages along the way.

    Beyond YUHA, Christian serves on the Board of Yale Alternative Investments, is a research assistant at the Yale School of Management, competes for Yale Men’s Water Polo and Yale Padel Tennis, is trialling with Yale's Varsity Soccer, and plays the Guitar. He has interned at Brevan Howard (Global Macro and Digital Assets) and the English Premier League, completed Morgan Stanley’s in-person Early Insights program, and presented economic research to Sam Altman's Worldcoin (Tools For Humanity).

  • Tommy Park

    Director

    Tommy is a senior in Ezra Stiles College double majoring in Political Science and Economics. He is from Los Angeles and has been a competitive swimmer his entire life, competing on the Varsity Swim & Dive team at Yale. Outside of the pool, Tommy is a captain and instructor for the Yale MMA Club. He is also an entrepreneur, having run his own jewelry company for nearly five years. This past summer, he interned at Citi in investment banking in the Energy group, and after graduation he will be joining Gordon Dyal & Co. in New York City as a generalist in M&A.

  • Asher Barondes

    Founder

    Asher is a senior in Saybrook College double majoring in Economics and History. He is from Los Angeles and enjoys playing tennis and traveling across the nation to fulfill his quest of visiting all 50 states. Alaska remains his final destination. Outside of YUHA, Asher plays on the Club Squash team and is involved in YES, YUCP, and TAMID. This past summer, Asher interned at Bain & Co. in their Private Equity Group.

  • Jack Stemerman

    Emeritus

    Jack is the third child of five and is from Greenwich, CT. He is an Economics major in the Class of 2026. The last two summers, he has worked at CAIS, a platform connecting financial advisors to myriad alternative investments including hedge funds. Jack is also a member of YUDI and plays for Yale Men’s Rugby. This past summer, he interned at Houlihan Lokey in their restructuring practice.
