Our Vision

The Yale Undergraduate Hedge Fund Association (YUHA) is Yale’s premier student-run organization dedicated to bridging the gap between classroom theory and real-world investing.

Founded to foster an intellectually rigorous and inclusive investing community, YUHA brings together undergraduates passionate about hedge funds, public markets, and alternative investments. Through a structured curriculum, members explore portfolio construction, behavioral finance, and risk management before applying these concepts in hands-on simulations and sector-specific teams.

YUHA hosts a robust speaker series featuring leading investors, fund managers, and Yale alumni, and partners on live projects with hedge funds managing over $50 billion AUM. Members also participate in national stock-pitch competitions, internal portfolio challenges, and collaborative research initiatives that mirror professional investment workflows.
